Whether you come from one of the multitude of universes already established, Earth, or anywhere in between, there’s a place for you here. Everyone lives in the apartment building, which always has room for you to live in. We hear they just expanded the gym! The island itself is full of attractions, and has just about everything you could ask. Unfortunately, no matter how you got here, we haven’t found any way to get you back, so you might as well make yourself comfortable. Oh, and if people think that you look like someone else, that’s alright – we hear that the universe likes to double up on appearances."[break][break] Long story short, everyone on the island came from various 2D mediums, whether they were anime, manga, games, cartoons, comics, and in our esteemed Pharaoh’s case, a rock opera. They may also be original characters from earth, or some odd version of it, but have face claims that can also be canons. All of them were brought to the island by some strange power, and woke up in their new apartments. There’s no way off the island, which seems to be contained in its own little universe. [attr="class","rcgentitle"]SETTING [attr="class","rcgen2"] [attr="class","rcgen3"]Rainbow Connection is based on the Nintendo game Tomodachi Life, and is set on Tomodachi Island, in a multiverse of sorts. Characters are brought here from all sorts of universes, and have to live together in a giant apartment building, basically. The island is situated in what seems to be the only landmass in an unknown land, with no way off of it. There are plenty of activities to do on, complete with an amusement park, beach, and observation tower. Islanders are able to shop their heart’s content, enjoy the scenery, and just live life. [break][break] A key feature of the island is the fact that every islander lives in the apartment building on it. It’s divided into four blocks: Sun, Moon, Star, and Comet. Each block is always expanding; when a new islander comes to the island, they are given an apartment, which just appears. Of course, they still have to pay rent, and how they manage this is up to them, although jobs are readily available.
